God gave the Holy Land to Israel… period!

June 25th, 2009 by

God gave the Holy land to Israel, forever! God’s Word, in no uncertain terms, says He gives title to what we today call the Holy land, to Israel and her descendants. Not to the Arabs or the Muslim world.

Genesis 13:14, 15 “And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.”

Exodus 32:13 “Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your own …

Can a Christian lose their salvation?

May 9th, 2009 by

A few years ago our fellowship was divided over this truth that once saved, always saved. Here is Greg Laurie’s spin on the question, “Can a Christian lose their salvation.” Go to the scriptures and see what God’s Word has to say for yourself! The answer by the way is, NO!

Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Should Christian’s Date?

May 3rd, 2009 by

Christian courting is the answer! That is how you get to know your future spouse and that is how you can find a bride, and that is how it can be done within God’s will.

There is a significant difference between courting and dating, and if you’re a Christian, understanding the concept can either assist you with obtaining a life of inner joy and peace, or finding yourself dealing with guilt and trying to repair the damage done from not taking the time to understand the differences between the two concepts and applying them to your lives.

The Holy Spirit gave us the Bible

April 2nd, 2009 by

“And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:19-21

The Holy Spirit is the person of the Trinity who gave us the Bible, not men. The apostle Paul for example wrote the book …

Love is patient…

March 3rd, 2009 by

The other night some of us were playing Call of Duty and for much of the night, we were being attacked by other players because of our scripture messages that display on the screen every 30 seconds. When some people figure out that we’re a Christian server, the comments start flying. We often deal with cheaters, foul language, and poor behavior. Often times this constant activity can cause a person to, shall I say, loose control! I myself sometimes get angry, and the next person that comes into the server that does anything a bit rebellious, we let them have …

The Rapture IS taught in scripture…

February 16th, 2009 by

The word Rapture” is not actually found in the Bible but is used to describe a Biblical truth, like the “Trinity,” another word not found in the Bible, yet describing a truth found in the Bible.

2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Christians have a great responsibility to learn correct doctrine, which is why this topic is being addressed. Furthermore, we are charged with learning scripture. We are to know our Bibles well enough to be able to accurately answer both Christians …

Greg Laurie and Nick Vujicic

February 13th, 2009 by

This is Greg Laurie and Nick Vujicic. Greg heads up one of the largest churches in California, the church we attended before relocating to Northern Idaho, called Harvest Christian Fellowship.

Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs and given no medical reason for this condition. Faced with countless challenges and obstacles, God has given Nick the strength to surmount what others might call impossible. Along with that, the Lord has placed within him an unquenchable passion to share this same hope and genuine love that …

Valentine’s Day!

February 13th, 2009 by

Who was St. Valentine? St. Valentine was actually two people who were martyred on the same day. Feasts commemorating them were celebrated on February 14. One was a priest and physician who died in Rome during the persecution of Christians by Claudius II Grothicus. The other was the bishop at Terni, Italy who was also martyred in Rome. Both have been buried at different places along the Flaminian Way.

Today, Valentine’s Day is observed as a special day for love. This topic is one of the oldest, and probably most-discussed, issues in history! As Christians, we know that love originates from …

Chronicles of Narnia verses Harry Potter

January 30th, 2009 by

Lately we’ve had some debate within our forums regarding the differences between Chronicles of Narnia and the Harry Potter books and movies. Some Christians believe that Chronicles of Narnia fall into the same category as Harry Potter books because they also use imagination and have magic in them. So we’re going to try and explain the vast differences.

There is a HUGE difference between these two authors. C.S. Lewis is a Christian who uses an allegory to teach Christian principles. For instance, in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the lion represents Jesus and the witch represents Satan. Good …
