Matthew 6:19-20 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Regardless of what we accomplish during our lifetime or the material possessions we accumulate here on earth, nothing really matters except for the eternal things God does through us! Be it helping out in the youth ministry at your local church or sweeping the floors for Jesus!

Luke 12:15 “….Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”

James 4:14 “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”

So keep your eyes on Jesus and His gift to you, be willing to serve Him by serving others, keep your focus on the long-term and make every moment count.
