As we’ve been studying through the book of Revelation, and chapter 4 is being taught this Thursday, it has crossed our minds here at Gamers 4 Jesus that there may be someone who is a member of our forums, or who might be reading our newsletter who is not a Christian. Maybe they have a false faith, are searching for the truth, or have never really truly trusted Jesus Christ. Whatever the reason, when every believing Christian disappears from the face of the earth, those left behind will be faced with a life or death question: Whether or not to take the “mark” of the beast, Satan.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

If you’re left behind, refuse the mark! Wake up and understand that this is a real situation for those who have not become born again. Don’t wait until it is too late.

Revelation 13:16 “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”

Since no one will be able to buy or sell without the “mark,” you are signing a death warrant if you refuse it. But there is eternal life after our earthly death. Only those who refuse the mark during this period will go to heaven.

Revelation 14:9-11 “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

But to refuse the mark on earth will mean certain death, however to be martyred for your faith in Jesus, you shall live forever.

Revelation 20:4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”

So, if you are unfortunate enough to miss the rapture, your dilemma is: Live now and die, or, die now and live. This message should be a sobering one for those who have believed in the false doctrines of men, rather than the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
